Here is a true collector grade skillet. Pictures do not do it justice! This pan has a factory milled cooking surface and bottom, as well as an assist tab with the company name. Milled bottom pans are highly collectible and sought after for their quality and beauty. This pan would have been custom made, by AB&I Co. AB&I Co was founded in Oakland California in 1906 as a small family owned business. They are still in business today and produce mostly cast iron soil pipe and fittings. This company does not show their past cast iron cookware lines, but does custom castings and has produced many skillets featuring images on the bottom. Don’t miss your chance to own a very cool piece of American History! Cleaned and Seasoned, ready to display, use, or gift! Sits flat, with no cracks, rust, or repairs. One small casting flaw shown in photos in the cooking surface. The discoloration around it was a build up of oil during the seasoning process; this will not affect use. Unlike today’s cookware, this piece will literally last a lifetime. Cast iron not only becomes non-stick with use; it will last a lifetime with proper care, adds iron to your diet, is chemical free, and is extremely versatile!
