This little towel and hot pad or dishcloth set is perfect for a little one who wants to help in the kitchen! Wether it is a play kitchen or helping in the real kitchen these items are made kid size. The towel is made from a quality washcloth folded down 1/4 of the way and crocheted so it will hang and stay connected wherever it is put. It measures 14" long when hanging, and 12 1/2" wide if spread out. The hotpads or pretend dishcloths are simple granny squares made with acrylic yarn to match the towel. My friend's little girl always wanted her hanging towel, but would get frustrated when the towel was to long and heavy and didn't work for her play kitchen. She asked if it was possible to make a smaller one. I was happy to experiment, and this is what I came up with! This towel would also work as a fingertip towel and could fit in small spaces. I'm always working on something new, and am open to ideas or suggestions for colors and options.
