Taipei, Oct. 5 (CNA) Growth of Taiwan's consumer price index (CPI) reached its highest level in eight months in September in the wake of food prices being pushed up by agricultural losses caused by a typhoon, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Thursday.
